Beware the email address paybackltd@aml.cymru. This is not our email address and has scammers behind it who are trying to trick people who have already been scammed and looking for our help. To the unsuspecting eye, the email address looks like ours, but it’s important to remember that official Payback emails can only end with @payback.com.
These imposters use our logo and distribute PDF documents with content stolen from our website, particularly from our legal page, to gain your trust. They often request payment via cryptocurrency, which Payback would NEVER do. Scammers do this because this payment method is almost impossible to track. There are many Payback imposters out there, but these, in particular, don’t have a website, at least as of now.
